I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics and a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Irvine. My primary fields of interest are Econometrics, Bayesian Inference, Simulation based Estimation and Empirical Macroeconomics. I will be graduating in June 2024. June 2023: Started working as an intern in Amazon.com Inc in Seattle.
June 2023: Presented my paper "Bayesian Forecasting, Opinion Pools and Survey of Professional Forecasters" at the 2023 North American Summer Meeting of Econometric Society held on June 22-25 in UCLA.
June 2023: Received the Best Econometrics Paper Award from the Dept. of Economics at UC Irvine for my paper "Bayesian Forecasting, Opinion Pools and Survey of Professional Forecasters".
June 2022: Received the Best Teaching Assistant Award from the Dept. of Economics at UC Irvine.
Sept 2021: Passed my Advancement exam in pursuit of my Ph.D.
